Our Doctors

JESSICA DICERBO, BSN, DMD
Diplomate, American Board Of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. DiCerbo was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. It was here she attended the Widener University School of Nursing, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She spent five years as an operating room nurse before beginning her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Dr. DiCerbo chose to dedicate her career to the dental needs of children and completed a Pediatric Dental Residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

As a specialist in pediatric dentistry, Dr. DiCerbo appreciates the focus on each individual, rather than on a procedure. Her unique training allows her to treat infants and children, but her abilities do not stop there; the individualized care that she is able to provide because of her highly-specialized education also includes caring for children with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities, as well as complex medical diagnoses.

For Dr. DiCerbo, it is important to her that she offers her patients state-of-the- art technology and services. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, she meets the rigorous requirements set by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. This includes building on the foundations learned in school by reinforcing her expertise in preventive care, the growth and development of children, and the newest techniques in restoring primary teeth, sedation, hospital dentistry, and dental emergencies.

Outside of the office Dr. DiCerbo loves to spend her free time with her husband, Vince, and her two sons, Jacob and Jeremy. Dr. DiCerbo also finds great satisfaction in giving back to the community. During her pediatric dental residency, she participated and recruited volunteers for a homeless health initiative. Now, Dr. DiCerbo speaks at local schools about the importance of oral health and volunteers for Give Kids a Smile, an organization where uninsured local children receive dental treatment. She is also an active supporter of JDRF, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

JEREMY IRVING, DMD

Dr. Jeremy Irving, DMD, is a pediatric dentist who enjoys helping kids feel comfortable and confident at the dentist. He believes that positive early experiences can make a lasting impact, and he works hard to create a fun, relaxed environment for both children and parents.

Dr. Irving grew up in Delaware County, Pennsylvania and attended Garnet Valley High School. He went on to West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where he was a two-sport varsity athlete in track & field and football while earning his degree in Microbiology.

He received his dental degree from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, graduating magna cum laude. During that time, he served as President of the Pediatric Dentistry Club, which helped confirm his passion for working with children.

After dental school, Dr. Irving completed his pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he was chosen to serve as Chief Resident. There he gained extensive experience treating children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs, and developed advanced skills in behavior management, preventive care, and minimally invasive treatment techniques.

Dr. Irving is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Delaware State Dental Society, and he stays up to date with the latest techniques to provide the best care possible.

Outside of the office, he enjoys weightlifting, staying active, and spending time with his wife and their two Bernedoodles, DJ and Frankie.

CHRISTY YARMOSKY, DDS

Dr. Yarmosky was raised in Howard County, Maryland, where she grew up playing lacrosse through high school. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park—Go Terps!—graduating cum laude.

Before beginning dental school, Dr. Yarmosky participated in various mission trips and continued her education at George Mason University and Georgetown University, where she pursued a certificate in Biomedical Sciences. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Driven by a passion for working with children and patients with special needs, Dr. Yarmosky completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. Her inspiration to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry came from her own childhood dentist, and she now hopes to create healthy, beautiful smiles—and maybe even inspire a future dentist or two along the way.

Outside the office, Dr. Yarmosky enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their dog, Stella. She loves relaxing at the beach and staying active through a variety of physical activities. Community service has always been a core value in her life, and she looks forward to becoming more involved in outreach events as she and her growing family settle into their new hometown.
