Our Doctors

Diplomate, American Board Of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. DiCerbo was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. It was here she attended the Widener University School of Nursing, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She spent five years as an operating room nurse before beginning her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Dr. DiCerbo chose to dedicate her career to the dental needs of children and completed a Pediatric Dental Residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

As a specialist in pediatric dentistry, Dr. DiCerbo appreciates the focus on each individual, rather than on a procedure. Her unique training allows her to treat infants and children, but her abilities do not stop there; the individualized care that she is able to provide because of her highly-specialized education also includes caring for children with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities, as well as complex medical diagnoses.

For Dr. DiCerbo, it is important to her that she offers her patients state-of-the- art technology and services. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, she meets the rigorous requirements set by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. This includes building on the foundations learned in school by reinforcing her expertise in preventive care, the growth and development of children, and the newest techniques in restoring primary teeth, sedation, hospital dentistry, and dental emergencies.

Outside of the office Dr. DiCerbo loves to spend her free time with her husband, Vince, and her two sons, Jacob and Jeremy. Dr. DiCerbo also finds great satisfaction in giving back to the community. During her pediatric dental residency, she participated and recruited volunteers for a homeless health initiative. Now, Dr. DiCerbo speaks at local schools about the importance of oral health and volunteers for Give Kids a Smile, an organization where uninsured local children receive dental treatment. She is also an active supporter of JDRF, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

William Kotkin, DMD attended the prestigious dual admission program at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine in Florida. He completed a General Practice Residency at Northwell Health in Long Island, NY and then went on to complete his Pediatric Dentistry training at Northwell Health’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he served as Chief resident. During his residencies, he worked with leading experts in treating complex cases in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, geriatric, children and special needs care. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Delaware State Dental Society.

Dr. Kotkin takes pride in providing the highest quality care to children and adolescents. He believes in educating his patients about the importance of oral health care so they will have a lifetime of healthy and beautiful smiles. Dr. Kotkin performs all phases of comprehensive, preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry for children. In addition, he has extensive experience with sedation dentistry, early interceptive orthodontics, and special needs patient care.

During his free time, Dr. Kotkin enjoys hiking, camping, cooking and spending time with family.

Dr. Jeremy Irving, DMD grew up in Delaware County, Pennsylvania where he attended Garnet Valley High School. Before becoming a dentist, Jeremy was a two-sport varsity athlete in track &
field and football at the West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he also earned his Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.

Inspired to follow in his mother’s footsteps, he began dental school in 2016 at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where he was president of the Pediatric Dentistry Club
and graduated magna cum laude. He completed his training in Pediatric Dentistry at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he was chief resident.

He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Delaware State Dental Society.

During his free time, Dr. Irving enjoys going to the gym, relaxing at the beach, riding bicycles, and spending quality time with his fiancé and Bernedoodle.

Meet the Team

In the many years I’ve worked in the dental field, I’ve always loved working with children, and am so happy to be a part of Dr. DiCerbo’s team. I love seeing the smiling faces of all the children that come into the office, and from our front desk, I’m the first to welcome each one into our office with a smile of my own. Our team has a real sense of family and mutual respect for all that we do, especially when it comes to making kids smile!

I have been married to my husband John for 35 years. I have two grown children, Rachel and John, and an adorable grandson named Jace! We moved from Pennsylvania nine years ago to be by the beach, which is my favorite place!

My goal is to make sure our little patients and their parents leave our office with big smiles. I try to make sure that insurance processing, making appointments, and billing are as stress-free as possible. I love seeing the smiling faces on the wonderful children we see each and every day! They’re all a lot of fun and make each day exciting and new. My team members are all fabulous individuals; we are one big family that values one another.

I live in Lewes with my husband Keith, our daughter Arianna, and our fur child Rocky. I love going to the beach, traveling (especially to Disney!), and spending time with our family.

My goal is to give all the children who come to our office a safe and comfortable dental visit. I see my job as a chance to be a positive role model in my patients’ lives, and I do whatever I can to be uplifting and encouraging at their appointments. As a team, we strive to give every child an enjoyable visit and leave their appointment proud of themselves and excited to return.

I grew up in Maryland and am now raising my two sons there with my husband. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, traveling to new places, and shopping.

I assist Dr. DiCerbo and our hygienists, providing patient care that is gentle and comfortable. I love making every patients experience a happy one. I want all children to love coming to the dentist! I love coming to this office and appreciate the quality of care that is given to the children. Working with Dr. DiCerbo and the rest of the team is amazing and super fun!

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and watching a good movie with my two bunnies Camilla and Baloo.

I help maintain the flow of the office. Inform parents of healthy dental hygiene. Give children a good experience at the dentist. I started working at Coastal Kids Pediatric Dentistry in 2020. I love seeing the children leave with a smile on their face. It is a fun working environment, everyone is patient and willing to help their coworkers when needed.

I live in Salisbury, MD. I love traveling to new places in my free time, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

My duties are to bring patients back and prepare them for dental work, and to assist Dr. DiCerbo and the hygienists. I began working in the dental field this year when I joined Coastal Kids Pediatric Dentistry. My favorite part of my job is easing patient’s anxieties and seeing them feel more comfortable after each visit. I love working with the doctors and the rest of the team because we always help each other with any task, we don’t ever forget to work as a team. I enjoy any outdoor hobby. I especially like hiking, canoeing, and road trips but I also love staying in and having movie nights.
